Year Six: School Journey Day Four

It’s been our final full day and we’ve not stopped, and neither has the drizzle!

Bounce Below was an unworldly experience, in the depths of the caves. Chloe was particularly impressive and nimble on the trampolines, putting the adults to shame! It was lovely to see lots of children supporting those who were a little more hesitant at the idea, someone who was consistently helping others was Charlotte, she has been such a caring and gentle friend. Living his best life was Josh, his energy levels didn’t seem to drop at all whilst he was in there!

Megan has wowed the adults with her growth mindset throughout the week, she really has tackled everything head on.

Once we had done enough bouncing, we went on our way to Zip Safari; an epic treetop adventure 60 feet above ground. We started off harnessing up and learning about how the equipment worked and then had a go at testing out some of the zip wires fairly high above ground! Zac, Alistair, Isla and Hannah did not hold back and flew around the course at record speeds with absolutely no fear, despite being 60 feet up in the trees on very wobbly obstacles! Zip Safari also hosted a single and double seater forest coaster; each cart had brakes and the rider/s could choose how much these were applied. After having a go at the high ropes, Bobby made great use of the forest coaster – we reckon there was minimal brake use!

Our day ended with a disco back at the hotel. Lydia didn’t tire as she danced the evening away!

Home time tomorrow, we’ve had such a great school journey and many happy memories have been made.
