Year Four: English – Overheard on a Saltmarsh

We have begun our English learning this year by reading the poem ‘Overheard on a Saltmarsh’ by Harold Monro. In one of our lessons, we focussed on a performance voice read of the poem and how we can really bring a text to life by using intonation and expression.
