Year 6 have enjoyed a fantastic day so far today. The weather was perfect for the Miner’s Track; hardly a cloud in sight with Mount Snowdon clearly visible, yet a lovely breeze so it wasn’t too hot and tiring (although sun cream was generously applied as mountain breezes can be very deceptive!) Our group then enjoyed an indoor adventure complete with drop slides and a ‘beat the wall’ challenge. It’s been a tremendous week so far, the children have slept well and our staff have been so proud of their behaviour and the encouragement that the children have given each other on the various activities over the week so far. It’s back down to the beach this evening after dinner, then Plas-y-Brenin tomorrow (where we’ll be gorge scrambling and orienteering.)
