Year 4: Anglo-Saxon Trip to West Stow – 08.03.22

We had a fantastic day at West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village on Tuesday, made better by the sun shining for us! The children began by exploring the village and seeing how Anglo-Saxons would have lived, each building was constructed differently, allowing us to be investigative historians and question what would have been the most likely based on our knowledge of how they lived. Later on, we visited the museum and handled artefacts, this gave us the opportunity to work in groups and share our findings. Our day ended with a play in the, not so Anglo-Saxon, playground – lots of smiles here!
