Our Nursery and Reception children performed beautifully on the school stage to spell out the true meaning of CHRISTMAS! The traditional nativity characters, including dancing shepherds, delightful angels, three kings, stable animals, and of course Mary and Joseph (with their donkey!) all sang beautifully before packed audiences in the school hall. Each letter of Christmas spelt out a key word in the story of Jesus, with the exception of the final ‘S’, where Santa Claus made a lovely appearance to add an extra element of festive spirit to the performance. Highlights included a wonderful version of ‘Away in a Manger,’ along with ‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Christmas Star’ and a very energetic finale ‘When Santa got stuck up the Chimney!’ Well done TO ALL OF OUR WONDERFUL CHILDREN!
