Year 1 have had the most fantastic week back after lockdown! They have all been amazing and I just want to say what a credit they all are to Skyswood school. They have been working very hard and we have had so much fun!
This week we have focused on getting reacquainted with our friends and telling each other what we have been up to. We made a lovely surprise for Mother’s Day which I hope the mummies enjoy on Sunday. We had an author visit from Jessica Meserve on Wednesday and made the most amazing bunny pencil pots which are based on the her new book ‘Beyond the burrows’ (I have attached a photo of this). In addition, we finished off the week with a farmyard picnic and a Birthday party today! What a fantastic start back and I hope they have all enjoyed it as much as I have.
I hope the children all have a very relaxing weekend and we will continue the fun next week.
