Despite having to postpone this year’s Summer Fair, we have continued with the 60’s themed competitions and our Andy Warhol display is really beginning to take shape in the school. The competitions do not close until Friday 12th June, so there’s still time to enter if you’d like to. We will be awarding some watercolour sets as prizes for the Andy Warhol competition and some space themed prizes for the ‘Design a Rocket’ competition. Every child who enters will receive a special certificate. If you still wish to enter the Andy Warhol competition it might be worth having another look at the Lesson in Warhol post on the school website (in the Whole School Home Learning Tab , posted on 29th March). If you’d like to enter the space rocket (or space ship) competition then you could use any materials that you wish. We’d love to display your rockets in the hall (hanging from the ceiling). This would make a fabulous display for when everyone is back to school and we get back to some form of ‘normality.’ Please send photos of your rockets, or your Warhol art, to head@skyswood.herts.sch.uk
