Our junior school choir joined forces with several other Hertfordshire schools to form a massed choir of 2,400 children for the Hertfordshire Music Gala at the Royal Albert Hall. The choir performed a wide range of songs, including a special commission by Richard Sisson based on The Wicked Lady. The concert was outstanding, and the choir were supported by the Herts Schools’ Symphony Orchestra and the County Youth Choir and Cantate. The theme of Fables and Fantasy was held together through a wonderful narration based on local myths and legends. Congratulations to all of the children who took part and a big thank you to Miss Yaxley for all her hard work and input during the rehearsals. As always, our children were an absolute credit to the school.
