I can’t remember when I first stumbled upon the video of the Stellenbosch University Choir singing the piece Baba Yetu but I was instantly hooked and I frequently go back to it when I need a boost of musical joy! The singers look like they are having such a good time! This version was arranged by the choir’s conductor and there are some other really good versions to listen to on YouTube. The music was originally composed by Christopher Tin and I wonder if you can find out what it was originally composed for?
