Our children absolutely smashed the Red Nose Route Run on Friday afternoon as part of our Comic Relief Celebrations. Many thanks to our children and parents for another day where the Skyswood community support has been amazing, raising an incredible total of £409.93 for Great Ormond Street Hospital. Everybody deserves great credit, but a particular mention must go to Year 2 (Who raised over £100) and to Hamish in particular (who emptied his piggy bank because he wanted to make a difference, and donated £30 to help the GOSH charity.)
Despite the grey weather, every class enjoyed their Red Nose Route Run, starting off in the junior playground, winding their way around our Stick Area Ribbon Trail, diving under a parachute, over a box and onto the tyres, then progressing through the school hall, taking on the balloon bop challenge and then going through library, dining hall and staff room before entering our Environmental Area and eventually completing a lap. The children were in great spirits and had great fun. Well done to everyone!
