Celtic Harmony

Year 3 visited Celtic Harmony last Friday  and literally walked through Stone Age gates to take themselves back in time.  After making a fire, using embers, in the Stone Age roundhouse, the children then did some shelter building in the forest and made ‘leaf soup’ out of dock leaves, rosemary, mint and thyme. After lunch the children took on the role of hunter gatherers  and finally gathered together for a Stone Age story. All in all it was a tremendous day and a big thank you to Annabel for her fantastic recount!
