As from the start of this term, Miss Lewis will take up the role of teaching assistant for our Year 2 class. Miss Yaxley has resigned this post as a result of other commitments. We are, however, delighted that Miss Yaxley will remain with us to support the delivery of music throughout the school and continue with the school choir.
We would also like to congratulate both Mrs Illingworth and Mrs Anderson. Mrs Illingworth will be leaving us at the end of the month to take up a Speech and Language Therapist post. Mrs Anderson will replace Mrs Illingworth as the teaching assistant for our Year 6 class.
As a result of these appointments, two part-time Learning Support Assistant posts became available. We are delighted to announce that Mrs Helen Regan has taken up a post as a LSA within Year 3 and, at the end of the month, Mrs Sarah Fowle will be taking up a Key Stage 1 LSA role.
We are also delighted to add Mrs Lines to our KS1 teaching assistant team. Mrs Jane Lines will be working on a part time basis for one session per day (supporting our Read Write Inc provision) as from the start of this term.
