Today we had a visit from Jeanne Willis a local author. Jeanne initially talked to us about her life, especially her love for animals, and read two of her stories entitled Tadpole’s Promise and Slug needs a Hug. The second part of the visit was a creative task making our own slugs influenced by the story. The children had great fun and have created some amazing art! Their creatures will accompany them home tomorrow!
