Our children were inspired earlier this week when local author, Jeanne Willis came in to school and gave a presentation to a number of classes. Jeanne grew up in the area and actually attended Wheatfields School as a child. She is possibly most famous for her hilarious Dr Xargle series and has written a wide selection of wonderfully illustrated children’s books. Thank you Jeanne for your inspirational input and passion for reading, the children most certainly enjoyed your visit!
