Science Year R — 10 July 2012
At the Sea Life London Aquarium!

Year R had a fabulous time at the London Aquarium.

After all the excitement of seeing the London Eye, Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, the River Thames and going round in circles looking for the toilets we saw some amazing sea creatures from all around the world.

The penguins were the favourite, as they entertained the children with their display of acrobatic diving.

The children returned full of enthusiasm and sea life knowledge.

Our favourite facts…

There are 2000 types of jelly fish, only 70 of them are harmful.

Jelly fish have no brains or hearts. Their bodies are made of 98% water.

They are the most symmetrical sea creature in the world.
