The children have enjoyed ideal weather for their Miner’s track walk up Snowdon today and were in great spirits as they tackled the path all the way to the third lake! Unfortunately, the Internet at the hotel is down so we cannot deliver pictures from today’s activities… so here’s an image taken from the Miner’s track to give you a glimpse of the beautiful scenery that our Year 6 class enjoyed earlier today.
The children also had great fun at the disco, with DJ Newton playing all the current favourites and hopefully (for the sake of the children) declining the offer of Mr Jones’ Depeche Mode CD!
Everybody is looking forward to being reunited with their families tomorrow after a truly fabulous week. We are tremendously proud of our Year 6 class. They have been outstanding ambassadors for our school throughout the week, with several comments about their enthusiasm, their politeness and their wonderful behaviour on ALL of the visits from Drayton Manor to Snowdon itself. Well done Year 6!
