Year 2 Become Food Critics!

Yesterday, the Year 2 children were assigned an exciting job... the job of a food critic! The classroom was transformed into a Chinese restaurant, with Miss Gray and Mrs Wildman as the waitresses. The children were tasked with writing expanded noun phrases for the Chinese food they 'tried', inspired by our current English unit and book, Dim Sum Palace. 

Once they had finished their work as a food critic for the day, they were then appointed another position - a food blogger. The children used their expanded noun phrases to write up a short article about their experience at the restaurant, whether good or bad! 

They took to their job roles brilliantly!
