Year 1 Visit the Cathedral!
On Wednesday 18th March, Year One went on their annual trip to St. Albans cathedral to learn all about the story of Saint Alban. This links the current History topic!

The children had great fun learning about the Romans and particularly enjoyed learning about the soldiers. They then had the opportunity to act out the story of how Alban became a saint. They all took their roles very seriously!

In the afternoon, the children learnt all about Roman mosaics and then had an opportunity to make their own.

The children will have the opportunity to share their knowledge in the up-and-coming class assembly on Thursday 30th of April!
