Skyswood Stars - 9th October

Congratulations to this week's Skyswood Stars! Your teachers are all incredibly proud of you. Here is why they nominated you:
Eden (Nursery) - Curiosity
Eden is our star of the week for showing fantastic curiosity and always being eager to explore and discover new things.
Reuben (Year R) - Resilience
Reuben has been trying so hard in Busy Fingers and RWI, working on his fine motor control. He involved us with his portrait of himself this week.
Ieuan (Year 1) - Rainbow
Ieuan gave a fabulous presentation to the class on his harvest festival celebrations at his church. Thank you for teaching us all!
Hazel (Year 2) - Resilience
Hazel has shown incredible resilience this week. She has challenged herself to walk into school with a smile, she’s picked herself back up when she’s felt sad and she has tried hard in all lessons and has not worried about making mistakes. I’m very proud of her!
Billy (Year 3) - Curiosity
Billy has been brilliant when exploring the world of Maths in the last week. Whether it be Place Value or Arithmetic, he has shown a real interact in his learning. He has also been superb at X Country Club.
Lewis (Year 4) - Rainbow
Lewis is kind and helpful to adults and children alike. His focused listening shows both curiosity and respect, and his work shows the benefits of this. In addition to these attributes, he has shown resilience and determination when learning challenging maths strategies this week
Johanna (Year 5) - Curiosity
Johanna is always inquisitive, asks questions, contributes beautifully and is always curious in her learning. Her setting description based on our book Cloud Tea Monkeys was outstanding, using fronted adverbials.
Amelia (Year 6) - Curiosity
Excellent attitude to work - shows real determination to improve her learning and understanding. SATS Bot - spoke with mum and Amelia has been constantly trying to improve - scored 36/36 on 9/10/2026 - Well done Amelia!
