Skyswood Stars - 18th September

Congratulations to all of this week's Skyswood Stars, who received their certificates from Mrs Ede earlier today.

This is what your teachers have awarded them for:

Curiosity – Erica (Nursery)
“Erica’s imaginative ideas and enthusiasm for exploring new activities make her a joy to have in the class!”

Kindness – Isabel (Reception)
“Isabel has been so kind this week to her friends. Sharing with her friends and being respectful to others and using lovely manners.”

Curiosity – Nel (Year 1)

“Nel has worked so hard in Read Write Inc this week! She has remembered new sounds and their matching rhymes. She has also helped the rest of her group! Well done, Nel!”

Kindness - Ada (Year 2)
“From the very start of Year 2 Ada has shown incredible kindness to her friends, myself and the younger children on the playground. She is always looking out for others, whether that’s getting a pencil ready for a friend or sharing kind words.”

Resilience - Charlotte (Year 3)
“I’ve watched Charlotte take a really great interest in all of her learning this term – she is a great role model to the others. She made a fantastic Stone Age forager in our history lesson and also unpicked problems in computing!”

Curiosity – Aidan (Year 4)
“In science, Aidan has shown a natural curiosity and asks thought-provoking questions that help all of Year 4 to think scientifically. His broad knowledge is impressive and Aidan applies this to justify his thinking.”

Resilience – Cian (Year 5)
“Cian has had an incredibly positive start to the year! He has been focused and attentive. He has used his growth mindset in all areas of the curriculum. Excellent Cian.”

Curiosity – Annie (Year 6)
“ Annie showed amazing enthusiasm for her learning when working on calculation methods for addition and subtraction. She worked through the method and consolidated her understanding. Annie was given the opportunity to go to assembly but asked if she could carry on working and she did this independently. Well done, Annie!”
