On Tuesday, Year 6 visited St. Albans’ Fire Station to meet local PCSOs, Fire Officers, Herts Young Homeless and other community groups. We completed activities which centred around how to spot dangers, including fire hazards in the home, cyberbullying, potential dangers when at the beach and electrical hazards around towns. We also practised putting people in the recovery position and experienced how texting when walking can affect our ability to concentrate.
