Year 5 are Flying High!

Our Year 5 pupils made us all so proud yesterday when they performed in the SAPSMA  Primary Schools Choir ‘Flying High’ concert at the Alban Arena. Twenty school performed through three separate concerts, starting out with a delightful rendition of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. The choir then went on to sing some  familiar favourites, such as ‘A Whole New World,’ ‘Let’s go fly a Kite,’ and ‘The Final Countdown.’ They also sang Abba’s ’Eagle’ and the wonderful combination of ‘I love the Birds’ leading into ‘Feathers and Wax,’ before rounding  off with ‘Those Magnificent Men’ and ‘Try Everything.’ Well done to all of our Year 5 children, and a big thank you to Mrs Lewis, Mrs Morrish and Mrs Salway for making this experience possible, along with the SAPSMA team, headed up by   Marie Price, for their fantastic support during the rehearsals. Eight schools performed in our particular concert and it was a truly memorable occasion, showcasing a fabulous example of collaboration and excellence between local primary schools.
