Year 3 – D&T Salad making

Today, Wednesday 20th March, Year 3 spent the morning making the salads they had designed as part of the ‘savoury salads’ topic in D&T.

Everyone had carefully thought about all the components to making a tasty but also healthy salad. They chose something from each food group, carbohydrates, protein, fruit and vegetables and dairy.

We had such a fun morning chopping, mixing and tasting. The smiles on all the faces proved the excitement and achievement felt by everyone.
