Year 2’s  Florence Nightingale Day!

Today, Thursday 13th October, Year 2 had a visit from Florence Nightingale!

The children had a fantastic day creating Florence inspired crafts, using their detective skills to sort ‘missing suitcases’ and returning them to their correct owners and finally, an afternoon of role play in Scutari hospital. The class were fantastic throughout sharing their knowledge and throwing themselves wholeheartedly into every activity. Their behavior was impeccable with Florence commenting that “What a fantastic class you have!” Well done Year 2! We were very proud of you.

Thank you all for making such a super effort with all your costumes.

I would also like to thank the parent helpers that supported the class. You were absolutely fantastic and we certainly couldn’t have done it without you!
