Our lower juniors sang and performed beautifully in their Christmas production of Straw an Order; set in a courtroom in the middle of Bethlehem. The cows and donkeys are arguing about their stable rights and, fed up with their petty squabbles, Judge Grumps is far from happy! The narrator then takes the Judge out of the courtroom to witness the night’s events at first hand. After encountering bickering innkeepers, three rather ‘superior’ wise men, cool shepherds and a spectacular angel choir, everything starts to fall into place. The judge is then humbled by the sight of Baby Jesus and the characters put aside their squabbles and rejoice!
