Stars of the Week – Week ending Friday 5th June

We would like to say that this has been a very successful ‘first phase’ return to school this week and we feel that all our children have been absolute stars; the ones that have been able to return this week along with the children who continue to give such an amazing effort engaging with their home learning challenges.

For those who have returned to school, we have introduced a slight variation to our ‘Star of the Week’ award and one child in each reception, Year 1 and Year 6 bubble will receive a ‘Bubble Star of the Week’ award each week. Here are our stars for this week:

Reception Bubble A: Toby For his fantastic attitude and excellent learning across all areas.

Reception Bubble B: Dilan For his amazing efforts with his writing.

Year 1 Bubble A: Christian For his all round effort with reading and writing and his exceptional piano videos!

Year 1 Bubble B: Emmanuel For super descriptive writing following the nature walk, and for great bravery when losing his first tooth (I’m sure the Tooth Fairy was most impressed!)

Year 2: Rory For his fabulous dragon story and his super maths.

Year 3: Rosie For her consistent application and wonderful attitude to all home learning tasks.

Year 4: Hannah N For her action-packed account about shrinking and navigating around the school as a tiny person (inspired by The Borrowers.) Luckily she escaped the pigeon and the lawnmower.

Year 5: Lewis For his exceptional Jumanji story

Year 6 Bubble A: Kyran For his wonderfully positive attitude in all learning opportunities throughout the week.

Year 6 Bubble B: Jack L For his excellent work in our environmental area and his wonderful positivity in all areas of learning.

Key Worker Bubble – Jessica For her fantastic positivity. Mr Jones was particularly impressed by Jessica’s attitude and helpfulness.
