The stars of the week for the week ending Friday 12th May had their certificates presented in assembly by Mr Rush! Sturat Burden, one of our parents, ran the London Marathon in bare feet dressed as Mr Rush, and came in to present a special assembly to the children. The assembly informed the children as to why Stuart chose to run for Children with Cancer UK, and why he decided to run in bare feet dressed as a Mr Man character. The children then had the opportunity to ask some thoughtful questions and find out more about the experience of running the London Marathon. Many thanks for Mr Burden for coming in to lead the assembly.

Year R: Eleanor S – Who has really blossomed this week and grown in self confidence.
Year 1- Ben – For his fantastic standard of home learning throughout the week.
Year 2 – Millie – For working hard and overcoming a bad habit!
Year 3- James – For making good choices and listening to advice.
Year 4- Megan – For her outstanding attitude and flair for writing.
Year 5- Sean – For trying hard and really applying himself to the Year 5 tests.
Year 6- Misha – Who is clearly very proud of his efforts with SATS and, as with all of our wonderful Year 6 class, has really applied himself to the task.
