On the Thursday before half term, Skyswood entered two teams into the St Albans Primary Schools’ Mini Tennis Competition. Both teams performed superbly, with some great rallies and exciting points. Our ‘B’ team, featuring Lola, Hina, Finn and Lewis, finished third in their group, whilst our ‘A’ team, made up of Leo, Toby,Alice and Kate, won their group. The ‘A’ team then went on to win an exciting final 3-1, and will now go forward to represent St Albans in the Hertfordshire County Mini-Tennis tournament later this term. Well done to all the children who represented the school, you all put in fantastic performances!
