  • Baseline assessments for children entering into Nursery and Reception are made in October of each year and progress is reviewed termly. We believe the December data to be more reliable as it allows for ‘settling in time’ and a term of really getting to know the children, therefore offering a more informed assessment. Baseline data for December 2020 is as follows;

The Year 1 cohort for 2020 were unable to take the test until the autumn term (2020) due to the national lockdown. Three children, two with exceptional needs and one with English as an additional language alongside Special Educational Needs, were disapplied.

The twenty seven children who took the test in the autumn term of their Year 2 all achieved the expected standard.
