Our Year 3 and 4 classes all looked to the East to follow the shining star… performing their Christmas Play, entitled ‘Let’s do a Nativity!’ Spurred on by the charismatic director and his team, the children decided that December was the time to ease up on their workload and focus on a play! (Although in reality that’s a bit of a contradiction!)
Despite the star (with specially written solo) having a horse-riding accident, a few teething problems with dancing shepherds, a surprise appearance of Honey G, and a small amount of initial resistance from a group of bullies, the production team successfully allocated the necessary roles and the show was indeed ‘Alright on the Night.’ Congratulations to all of the children, who clearly worked hard to learn several songs and numerous lines to ensure a perfectly polished final performance!
