Our Year 6 class enjoyed a fantastic final day on their field trip to Wales, before we set off to return home tomorrow. In the morning the children loved the Bounce Below activity, and Deep Mine Tour for those who accompanied Mr Bridle as an alternative to Bounce Below.
The sun came out for the afternoon and the children were simply superb in their efforts to conquer the Zip Safari course. Erin and Ava practically beat the course record, leading the way for our first group. The children were extremely proud of their efforts and then moved on to the Forest Coaster. Many came down at lightning speeds and it pretty much exemplified how they’ve been all week; putting their all into every activity and having great fun.
It’s been an action-packed week and the children are getting ready for this evening’s disco. We’ll also be celebrating Leo’s birthday (which is tomorrow) and making the most of our final evening before returning to St Albans. The children have slept well, eaten well and certainly enjoyed a memorable week!
