The girls football team started their league season in great style with a 5-0 victory away to Windermere. Tilly K scored a wonderful first half hat-trick, with Tilly F and Lilly adding to the score-line in the second half. Lola, who was magnificent in the heart of midfield, hit the woodwork on three occasions and, along with our Tilly double-act, controlled the midfield.
The boys team have started the season with fine performances against strong opponents with several district players (St Adrians and Maple). Despite losing two entertaining matches by the scoreline of 6-3, the team have shown great promise and can look forward to an exciting season ahead.
