The school football team went six points clear in the league after an excellent victory away against Samuel Ryder on their amazing artificial pitch. Luke gave Skyswood the lead, but Samuel Ryder hit back with an equaliser. Just before half-time, Seb restored the lead on his first team debut. The team had a good share of possession in the second half and Luke extended his lead with his second goal. He was only denied a hat-trick through a stunning save by the Samuel Ryder keeper. Daniel’s incredible break away from defence almost resulted in goal of the season, but once again the hosts’ keeper made an impressive save. The victory puts Skyswood six points clear of the Alban City School, with Skyswood having three matches remaining but Alban City having a game in hand.
