The school football team followed up their 11-1 victory against Mandeville with a hard fought 1-0 victory against St Adrians. Despite the muddy conditions, both teams played a flowing style of football, with Jack being a driving force in midfield alongside strong and determined performances from George and Adam. The defence held firm and protected the Skyswood goal against a team containing four local District players.
The winning goal was scored by Daniel after outstanding work from Jack and Adam. Skyswood almost added a second when Adam scored from close range but the goalkeeper was adjudged to have been impeded in the process. The team gave 100% as always and thoroughly deserve to be in their position at the top of the league after the completion of our autumn term league fixtures.
