Football Report v St Peters

The school football team won an exciting match against St Peters to secure their first league points of the season. In what has been most certainly the toughest league in recent years, the team bounced back from defeats against St Adrians and Maple with a fine five goal victory. Harry scored an amazing hat-trick, with his third goal coming from a marvellous solo run and superb finish. Luke also deservedly got on the scoresheet and Aaron’s free kick was driven in off the head of an unfortunate defender. The whole team played superbly and a special mention must be given to Archie (who performed brilliantly against his mum’s school) and Alastair, who goes from strength to strength with every performance and has played exceptionally considering he has only just started Year 4!
