Year 2 had their well anticipated Florence Nightingale day today to support the current history topic. The children were fantastically behaved throughout and took the opportunity to show off all the super knowledge they had learnt so far.
Throughout the day all children participated in numerous activities such as Scutari Hospital role play, descovering Victorian artefacts, Scutari sash making, locket making, application forms and clay lamp making. Later on this week we will complete the topic by writing a recount of our day.
We would like to thank Fiona from History Off the Page for delivering a superb day but also all our parents and grandma’s who volunteered. We couldn’t have done ot without you!
