Children in Years 3, 4 and 5 will have djembe drumming lessons every Wednesday from now until the end of term. This fantastic opportunity arose when the Herts Music Service offered one morning per week, with the inspirational percussionist, Chris. The children have clearly enjoyed their first two sessions. The Year 3 class, who have been allocated ‘Africa’ as their continent for this year’s ‘Around the World’ Summer Fair, will actually work towards a class African drumming performance for the day.
