Skyswood were well represented at this year’s District in Bloom Awards, held at the council offices on Friday 8th September. Categories for awards included ‘Perfect Pollinators,’ ‘Super Scarecrows,’ and ‘Vibrant Vegetables.’ The competition was excellent, with sixteen local schools entering. Although we didn’t win any of the categories for this year, we came away with lots of creative ideas for the future. Thank you to Ariella, Carmel, Laura, Toby and Lewis for coming along as our Environmental Ambassadors, and a big thank you to Mr Collenette for accompanying the group at the ceremony.
