Here’s something to think about over the weekend. Mrs McCarthy and I have been considering over the past couple of months how good it would be to re-decorate our school dining hall. We’ve decided to put a plan together where we’ll do this over the course of the Easter ‘holiday’ and we envisage lots of cheerful cartoon fruit and vegetable characters to give the area a real lift. We’ve decided to launch this as a competition, so we want you to design your own cartoon fruit or vegetable character. (Avoid kiwi fruit as these are not allowed in the school for allergy reasons).
Mrs McCarthy and I will judge the competition, and the winners will have their designs permanently painted onto our dining room walls or kitchen area. By all means look at some clip art images for inspiration, but we will be choosing the winners based on originality, so we are looking for your own designs rather than a beautifully copied image. The competition closes on Sunday 5th April, so send in your designs to head@skyswood.herts.sch.uk by the 5th at the latest. We’ll share all of your designs on the website too. Have fun!
