Caernarfon Contingency!

Having assessed the weather this morning and contacted the local weather station, it was decided that the Miner’s Track at Snowdon would not be a pleasant experience for the children with such severe weather conditions. Instead, we headed straight to Caernarfon and enjoyed a couple of hours at the castle, along with a walk around the walled town. The castle itself was great. The children enjoyed an informative video and had ample time to explore the main towers before lunch. We then sat silently for a few minutes as a film crew worked around us to film an episode for a series on Castles around Britain (to be screened on Channel 5 at some time next spring.) Once again we received several positive comments from members of the public regarding the excellent behaviour of our children. Lots of great photos to share with Miss Caro on our return.
