Year 4 had a fantastic trip to Bhaktivedanta Manor. We enjoyed a short cart ride pulled by two huge oxen, before feeding them and the cows. We then explored the George Harrison garden, searching for hidden lyrics before going inside the manor house. Here the children enjoyed dressing up in role as gods and goddesses and learning about them and the beliefs of Hindus. We then all got dressed up in saris and turbans and spent some time in the shrine room where people were praying and singing, before sitting down to enjoy a delicious lunch of curry, rice, chips, crackers and breads!
