Our infants and reception class have been amazed this week to discover a gigantic egg in the environmental area! What could be in it? There are actually now signs that it is beginning to crack! The children have used their imagination to create a range of creatures that could possibly be inside and found out lots about animals (including prehistoric ones) which lay eggs. They have even had the opportunity to decorate their own ‘house’ dinosaurs as part of their learning. This special week of enrichment learning has been made possible thanks to Miss Powell and her colleagues from Herts University. Thank you very much, this has been a week that the children will certainly not forget!
